I’m absolutely rubbish at tags, largely because I’m rubbish at genres. Intentionally so, as I was once quite good at them, but age made me believe they didn’t matter and I found them easier to give up than opinions.
This is ironic as my work wants me to investigate linked data from the point of view of making our catalogue records richer and to ease resource discovery. Now, admittedly, that ain’t music, and a lot of the data being linked will be more to do with authors and their previous works, affiliations, etc, although subject headings may very well match loosely to genre in the academic output landscape, and our reliance on the always behind the times Library of Congress subject headings can be somewhat of a hindrance here. Ho hum. Bet you actually wanted to know about this music?
This music be music, and gloriously so.
I can’t work out if its a lone wolf who has many helpers or whether its actually a band who just use the main dude on their artist pic. The website doesn’t have an ‘about’ section. But that is as relevant as you want it to be, as indeed, are all things.
