I only have one complaint about this album. Some of the grooves just stop, like someone simply pressed ‘stop’ on the tape recorder. I can just hear them say, what, you got 16 minutes and 58 seconds (for example) of a most righteous groove! What more could you possibly want? Well, another 16 minutes and 58 seconds would be nice…
Its a live recording, so the awesome bass playing isn’t as prominent as it should be. But thats a trade-off, I bet if they went into the studio proper for this it would never turn out like this. It might be just as good, but it wouldn’t be like this. And I must admit, I like this. Much.
